Anyone else see the Bristol City - West Ham game today. He played the whole game and was quite frankly superb. Really come on a lot since he left here.

It is a shame that City's so-called ambition means we don't have time or inclination to take a chance and bring the likes of Smith and Adeyemi through. What will happen to the current crop that are out on loan?

The loan question is an important one. Neil has said he wants them to learn by playing mens football, where results matter and jobs are on the line. Totally accept this, but also wonder if it is out of sight out of mind, plus do we want them to learn how to be a league two player?

I think theres no doubt that professional mens football is superior in standard and competitiveness to the U21s, but what about the style? Do we want them learning League Two tactics and standards. Is the day to day coaching at lower league clubs up to the standard we would like them to be coached at?

Im simply playing Devils advocate. Whayt is more important for a developing footballer? Top coaching and learning from talented team-mates, and playing boys football? Or a poorer standard of professionals but getting competitive football?

Pros and cons to both
