Seen a report saying we along with Neverton  are looking at Alfred Finnbogason from Real Sociedad this summer.

Sociedad want to loan out the 26-year-old to help him regain his confidence,  Finnbogason who was signed for £6 million for the La Liga side, but he has struggled for goals in his first season in Spain and it is thought that he may need to head elsewhere to find his best form.

Then at the bottom of the article it actually mentions that City are also interested.   I don't think there is much in this one  but just in case

He was a beast on FIFA 13. That's about the extent of my knowledge.

Did well in Holland, then struggled for goals in one of Europe's top divisions. All sounds a bit familiar!

Very much doubt there is anything in this for either Everton or ourselves. Everton is probably down to the  Moyes connection. We have been loosely linked in the past.

The one bit which is probably right is that Real Sociedad want to loan him out!

Not a surprise he struggled for goals - only given 6 starts & 19 very brief sub appearances for less than 800 mins total playing time. He seems to have been the third pick striker - their top scorer only got 9.

I dont know what his playing style is so not sure he will suit us or the prem.   However he clearly has some talent so not sure I would dismiss him.  His attractiveness would increase if he was left footed and could give as a wide left option.

Given that a loan would be the best approach.

Believe he's a poacher type, would make sense considering AN sees Hooper as a deeper player and Jerome and Grabban certainly aren't.

Would rather we signed Rhodes.

For me Rhodes would be way out of his depth,   slow and poor at linking up play,  lacking in the work ethic that Neil looks for.    And second best to Gestede.

Also if he was good enough he would have been taken on before.

If Neil thinks he is good enough I will cheer him on,,, but I am hoping AN wont be having him here - and I would def prefer to have RvW instead.
