We have supposedly made a £2.2m bid for Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko, I know practically nothing about this lad other than he played against Southampton in the Europa League this season, and according to the Danish journalist in this article he would be an absolute bargain at that price, also Fulham and Celtic have been linked

This is clearly a rumour which has been made up by a Football Manager player, Sviatchenko is a well known 'bargain' on there,

Fair enough.

I think the result has knocked my usual optimism out for the night.

Whilst Canaryboy might be absolutely right, I think the sad reality is that Alex Neil is learnign what Chris Hughton did - ambitious targets prove too ambitious. Realisitcally this is probably our talent pool at the moment

May well be right... but I think some of the targets have been within our pool  but probably more suited to a second season team,  progression is more the order, rather than trying to buy bigger than what you realistically can rather buy what is right for this time and progress next season if we stay up.

I don't see nothing wrong with this at all  this guy looks big good at his level,  can he step up  now there lays the gamble of any signing

Never seen this man play, but he sounds really interesting for a footballer, his dad is apparently a famous contemporary artist and his brother involved in the fashion world.

He dresses like a San Francisco tech geek / hipster...

Looks like the type of bloke you'd expect to find in a brewdog pub supping a craft beer whilst reading an insert from The Guardian.
