Never been too fussed about watching Mayweather fights because they tend to be boring, he's probably the greatest 'defensive boxer' in history, but when you are just watching somebody do peek a boo for 12 rounds and winning on points every time because the 'hand picked' opponent couldn't land any shots it doesn't make for great entertainment.
Unless you are a true boxing purist - which I'm not, just like watching a few handbags in the pre-fight presser and then a good scrap with the chance of a KO.
But Maidana gave Mayweather a bit of a beating last time out and Mayweather was showing signs that he is in decline, if Maidana can find a little bit extra this time I'd say there was a chance we could finally see Mayweather lose a fight.
It would probably be good for boxing if he does lose, so I'm going to be watching this if I can find a stream on Saturday and cheering Maidana. Anybody else planning to give this a watch?
