First time I have been in this thread, Bunny looks A LOT like Jonny Howson!

And ironic this is the first post in it, he has just tweeted that his time at Norwich has come to an end!

Hope he gets himself a decent club. Looked a good keeper during that spell when Ruddy was injured.

He's certainly a competent keeper. Better than playing number 3 at a championship club. He was no liability at Premier League level and more than proved himself. Feel sorry for him really that he did so well, but then has been left to rot ever since. Goalkeeper is a poisoned challice in that respect, but most footballers want to play, and he is easily good enough to be a regular at championship level. Good luck to him

Didn't fill me with much confidence when dealing with crosses and could have done with being a couple of inches taller, but he did a good job when called upon and is an excellent shot stopper. You'd think he'd do a job as a first choice keeper for a lot of clubs in the Championship?

Not sure we should feel too sorry for him though, if he wanted regular first team football when he signed then moving up a division to a club which owned a current England international wouldn't be the way to go about it. He got about as much football as you would expect John Ruddy to get if he moved to Chelsea under Courtious.

He'd be a good signing for any Championship team really, as a first choice keeper. Good luck to him, didn't do anything wrong when we needed him during the 2nd half of Hughton's first season. Can't blame him for wanting to move on, too talented to be a 3rd choice keeper at a Championship club (although hopefully come Monday we won't be Championship any more).

I don't really know why we didn't loan out Declan Rudd again this season and use Mark Bunn on the bench, with a recall clause on Rudd in case somebody came in for Bunn.

Would have been better for Rudd and us if he'd gone and played more football, I'm sure Preston would have taken him.

Bunn has apparently signed for Aston Villa on a 2 year deal. I thought his move to Bristol was done and dusted!

Suppose he's happy being a number 2

With Steer also on board, makes you wonder what they dont like about Rudd...

To be fair he's likely to be number 3 at Villa, as they already have Given and Guzan ahead of him, unless of course he's been bought in as a number 2 because one of them is likely to go.

Even so, you'd think he'd want first team football. With the exception of a couple of years at Northampton, a season at Sheffield United, and half a season here when Ruddy was injured, he's never been a first choice, despite now being 30 years old. You would think he'd want to spend the part of his career playing regularly. Still, his choice I suppose. He was a good keeper for us when we needed him after Ruddy's injury, so I wish him all the best.
